In a quiet street near the church in Bathford. Bedroom extremely comfortable with ample hospitality tray. The breakfast cooked to order by the proprietor, Jennifer, who is an excellent host and makes the stay most enjoyable. One of the most comfortable B&B's I have visited. More

Comfortable & clean, quiet room with little touches to make the stay more pleasant. Felt like a little apartment to our selves. Breakfast was excellent with fruit, cereal, yoghurt on offer plus the cooked breakfast cooked as requested. Bed comfy and shower was powerful and easy to use. Location in Bathford on a quiet and very pretty street which is... More

Lovely B & B situated close enough to Bath for easy access but with the advantage of a stunning village location. The accommodation is very clean and the bed incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Very welcoming especially with the help of the delightful 'Otto' the cat. Would stay again. More

I book this BnB for my parents who came to visit me from France. Even one or two month before I could not find anything in Bath around £60/70 with such a gd standing. This is why I decided to look at the villages around and found the Black cat in Bathford. (if you dt have a car , you... More

Very nice place in a lovely street, ideally located : Bath can be reached on foot following the canal (nice walk). The host is charming, very attentive towards her guests and prepares delicious breakfasts. She gave us a lot of information about Bath, how to reach it easily, where to eat, what to do, etc. Really a place to recommend. More

I stayed here during my walk from John O'Groats to Lands End and it was one of the best of the 55 B&Bs that I stayed at during my walk. Jennifer was really warm & welcoming & the room was great, with an excellent power shower. I would love to go back & stay again. More

Jennifer could not have been more hospitable, thoughtful and helpful. We chose this B&B since it has a ground floor, ensuite bedroom which turned out to be ideal for our needs. The breakfast was served upstairs which required my wife, who suffers from arthritic knees, to climb those stairs however despite that effort we really enjoyed Jennifer's cooking and company... More

The area of Bath where the Black Cat Bed and Breakfast is located is a quiet romantic back road away from any traffic and noise, but there is easy access from the main road network. You can park right out side the front door, the welcome and initial tour is friendly and informing. The room is very comfortable and quiet,... More

Nothing was too much trouble for Jennifer. Breakfast cooked for each of us individually - including porridge for the baby. Room was everything we expected and the books and DVDs were a nice touch. More
