“not five star!”

We agree with willy89...not 5 star....and the other2 reviews mentioned the beds...odd.. because we booked a deluxe king bed and got 2 singles strapped together...uncomfortable and cheap. Room was not clean... Olde world is one thing but shabby is not acceptable. House guests were neglected for the wedding on that day.....staff were not even friendly...they were too stressed with the... More

“Winter Stay at Mt Lofty”

A very Short stay but very relaxing We will probably visit again with more time to enjoy the surroundings. We found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful , Food was delicious the bed very luxurious our room was warm and thelibrary and public areas with wood burning fires most welcoming

Recently we planned a Weekend away to Mount Lofty. We had such a great time that I would of loved to stay for a week. So peaceful and relaxing, the quality of the food and wine was just fantastic. Can't wait to escape our busy lives again and head straight back to Mount Lofty.
