Welcomed by 2 warthogs and a really genuine guide we called 'krus' who it turned out was very knowledgable for an Englishman, we were blown away with the little things. Krus (real name Chris) started by calling me a red throated coot on our first drive before I realized he was referring to a bird! We were there to see... More

This Game lodge deserves all the starts it can get, the hospitality provided by the staff is outstanding. The lodge is a little piece of heaven, beautiful suites! I cant hardly contain myself thinking about the food - world class. The steak was one of the best ones we have ever had. The game drives were very informative and entertaining,... More

After much deliberating of where to stay, we split our stay between Nambiti Hills and Nambiti Plains due to lodge availability. We liked different aspects of each and can’t choose a favourite. We still believe that the guide/ranger is the single biggest determinant in quality of the experience, and not the factors mentioned below. Nambiti Plains is a much more... More

Nambiti Plains is heavenly! The staff were so welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was out of this world - so much time and thought had clearly gone into the planning and preparation. The rooms are stunning - spacious, beautiful, and allow you to take advantage of the bush views in every corner. And then... More

On arrival we got a good welcome and were shown straight to our rooms. The lodge has few guests which is nice as you can all chat. The rooms were all in separate cottages and very private from each other. All rooms maximised opportunities to view game with floor to ceiling windows along one side while maintaining privacy. Large decks were... More

This was our first visit to South Africa coming from a very long flight from New York. Our expectations were completely exceeded and for what we US residents thought was amazingly inexpensive compared with safaris that many of our American friends have spent at the " name" lodges. How can one beat $450 ( per night for 2 persons) for... More

We went to Nambithi Plain for a weekend getaway and we were not disappointed from the time we arrived. I'ts 5 star treatment all the way! The rooms are amazing, the heated floors a huge plus for the chilly winter evenings...they are nice and private and so comfortable.
