The room was filthy with black mould streaks on the roof and corresponding damp odor. Couldn't go on veranda as floor had collapsed. Buffet was stone cold.

I have visited this place several times before my last visit in this month.. i must write this because i am a lover of belihul oya area.. now the hotel has improved a lot and it has also upgrade its srevice level.. Cleanliness is very higher than my last visit on march this year.. continue this

A great place right by fast flowing mountain stream. If you like the sound of gushing water, then this place is for you. Rooms are large and simple, but comfortable. Restaurant is also by the river and outdoors. It's never too hot here, because of the altitude. A good place to stop overnight if on a long drive.

Belihul Oya resthouse is located in a beautiful place by the side of the belihul Oya. The place used to serve good rice and curry sometime back and was a popular stopover. Next to a fast flowing river this is not a quiet retreat but you can get used to the gush of the water. The rooms are very basic and could be cleaner. It is a good place for a no frills cheap stop off on your journey if you are on a budget.
