Garden lodges Pleasant stay over weekend. lodges are plenty big enough, clean with a decent kitchen, set in a long pretty garden.. The owner is very friendly as are her 4 cats and newly acquired kittens. if you don't like cats they will stay away. Nearby are a number of pubs and it's a relatively short distance to Clacton, Walton or Frinton. There is parking but you need to be able to manovere , but I am sure owners would help you. if we are up this way again would certainly consider another stay.

I have just come home from 5 days away staying at garden lodges. I have a lovley time debbie the owner is very welcomeing and exsplained where everything is in the lodge. The beds comfortable and the rooms are large and you have your breakfast ingredients left out which is handy.debbie also said if there was anything i needed just give her a call. The garden lodges are Ideal if you'd like a qriut break away and they are a good base , nere walton on naze and clacton.

My second visit and would definitely return again, nothing to fault, my son and I had a lodge each, very reasonably priced, lots of food for a breakfast and afternoon tea. Very quiet and peaceful setting.Debbie the owner is very friendly and helpful. Although there were a few cats around (and my son and I are not cat lovers) they toatally ignored us as they sensed we were not cat lovers, so they were not a problem at all. The lodges are well equipped very clean and had everything you needed for a few days stay. The area is really nice close to many pubs/restaurants and opposite the life spa which we spent the whole day Sunday at. Also very near to clacton and Colchester.

Booked it last minute for work. Very helpful owner. Lovely place and it was quiet which is what I wanted. Large living room/ kitchen. Separate bed/bathroom. Enough stuff in for breakfast and a packet of biscuits on the side. 😄

Me and my mum stayed at one of the Lodges for four nights. It was clean, cosy and had everything we needed. It was really quiet and set in a lovely garden. The owner Debbie was absolutely lovely, really down to earth and friendly. She also totally respects your privacy, yet it's brilliant to know if you feel you need too ask her anything she will do her best to help.. Not that we needed too... A lovely place with the nicest landlady you could wish for. Thanks Debbie xx

Even the cats are friendly! So as everyone else has written, this place is like an Eden, from the main street you cannot guess what is behind, a beautiful garden, these lodges look to me like bungalow, one floor, nothing on top except the roof. Inside is everything for a living. Clean, functional. I give 5 stars, which usually never give, because one or two defects you can always find, but this time, I cannot find. If you look for peace, quiet time, this is the best place.
