This hotel is right at the heart of Tokyo. We didn't get a chance to try public transportation because we joined a fully escorted tour but everything seem accessible from here. The view from the room is toss between the Tokyo tower at the back of the hotel which sparkles and beckons at night. Or the nice Buddhist temple and... More

A very spacious affordable hotel by Japanese standards. Located just behind the Tokyo Tower in a large open area, a novelty in Tokyo. Close to the Hamamatsuchho area, there are a lot of bars and restaurants within walking distance. A metro station is located just outside the hotel and there are many old Temples in the vicinity. The Hotel itself... More

I stayed at the Tokyo Prince Hotel the first week of April with my 12-year old nephew, who wanted to travel to Tokyo for his spring break. The best part of staying there was how convenient the location was. It was close to the Hamamatsucho station on the JR Line. There is also a free shuttle bus that goes to... More

I stayed here in May 2011 and was warned all about the small rooms to be expected etc. my room was fine. It was a decent size. The hotel is located near two different subways and you can cross a park to take a shortcut. The staff are very friendly and the experience is of a proper high end hotel.... More

First day here and I am not dissatisfied with my room. It is not large or fancy but it is immaculate and the bed is very comfortable. The staff is very courteous and work through the language barrier to ensure they understand your need. The hotel is right by the Tokyo Tower and the Zōjō-ji Buddhist temple is next door.... More

Certainly the hotel is old, with outdated everything but for a bargain $95 a niight (expedia) it was perfectly fine. My room has the Tokyo Tower in all its glory directly in front of it, it is well equipped with spa size bottles of soap and shampoos, hairdryer all the little amenities, razor, brush, toothbrushes, bath salts, nice size TV,... I came to Tokyo for the first time and had a small problem with transport, but then it all went without a problem. The hotel is clearly visible, especially impressive at night. The rooms are quite well equipped, but the hotels in Europe have a higher standard than a hotel in Tokyo. The stay was enjoyable, but the big hurdle... More

Currently staying in this hotel and about to check out tomorrow. This is a decent hotel in a well placed location. Plus: the limousine bus from Narita Airport stops directly at the front of this hotel. It costs 3000 yen per person but nevertheless, makes the travel from airport to hotel a straightforward business. There is also a taxi stand... More

Although hotel and room are a bit dated, service is excellent and very clean. Good if you just need to sleep and have a base while touring Tokyo. Near subway and JR lines. Had great view of tower. Loved the credit option for not cleaning room which can be used for the convenient store. More
