I've visited this hostel and I was satisfied. Because I was on low budget and staying for one month in Japan, I was searching for the cheapest I could get in Tokyo. Many people would say, it's impossible to get a ho(s)tel for such low price in Japan, but I say it is possible. It has very good location. Just... More

I stayed for 3 days and nights in this hotel and I'm perfectly fine with coming back here again but that's because all I need is just a place to bunk in over the night - if you're looking for a nicely presented, clean and lively backpacker's lodge, this isn't exactly the place. The vicinity of the hotel was rather... More

Staying here was like staying in a small town on the country side, was my first impression. The area is very quiet without heavy traffic, and to me it felt safe enough to walk the streets at any hour. It was fairly easy to find if you just follow the directions given on their website. The staff are nice and... More

We stayed at this hotel for a week in November. The weather outside was frightful, but the heating inside our room was delightful. So warm, in fact, that we slept with the window ajar most nights. The "hostel" itself is an old Japanese business hotel. Rooms are small but well-kept, very clean and ingeniously designed, so that you never feel... More

The guidebooks hyped this place up to be the best budget hostel in taito-ku, but there are other, much better places to stay. That having been said, it's still a fairly secure, cheap place to spend a couple nights. I think this place's biggest problem is just that the building looks very old. The room was not bad, comparable to... More

Rooms: Small, yet clean and secure. If you're used to your run-of-the-mill hostel, then you will not be disappointed by any means. In fact, you'll be pleasantly surprised, I would imagine! Facilities: The shared bathrooms are well maintained, considering the price. Why would you use the kitchen, when the meals at the supermarket around the corner are so cheap, and... More

first, why are people treating this place like a hotel? it's a cheap traveler's backpack hostel joint. i should also state this spot is located in a day laborer district which is a pretty rare and shocking sight for most. but the most safe place in NYC doesn't even match up to how peaceful this area is. that's Japanese culture... If you are just looking somewhere to sleep and take a shower and don`t care too much with cleaning and a "after war building" enviroment, this is OK, But believe me, with more $12 (couple room) you can get something much, much better (hotelmaruchu, for instance). I classify this place as the worst place I have ever stayed! From the... More

Went here in October 2011, it is exactly what it says - a backpackers hotel. The beds were a thin mattress on the floor which take up the entire room. If you are young and budgeting then this is perfect, it is not for elder people who are seeking comfort and have cash to spend. It is convenient located near... More

Stayed here for one week during trip to Tokyo. The staff are very nice especially Mr.Bobby and Miss Yumiko. Since my flight arrive late at Haneda, Bobby was kind enough to wait for me to arrive at their hotel after 12.00am or else, the check in counter will be closed after 10.00pm. Location wise, it is merely a 10min walk... More
