My husband and I stayed here as past of our Coast to Coast walk. Les was extremely accomodating on arrival and we were fed scones, jam and excellent coffee. Fantastic conservatory to relax and watch the birds from. Comfortable bedroom with everything you needed (including a mini fridge). Fab drying room. Just outside the centre so involves a lilttle walk... More

Three of us stayed here for our annual walking holiday. The accommodation and food were excellent and the teacakes & scones waiting for us on our return each day were much appreciated. There was an abundance of information about the area, places to visit and walks to be made. If would be hard to find better place to stay.

Les was very friendly and served a great breakfast. The house was well equipped and had a pleasant conservatory and some useful accessories for sale. As with many or the rooms on the C2C the twin room was a little small for two men sharing with all their gear but at least the bags were taken to the room and... More

We totally agree with Faitcharity from Sidney's review, it is an excellent house, but arriving around 2pm after a long walk were not allow in and I like to add that we could not sleep because we were too cold. There were no duvet on the bed, just a rug and sheets, which is ok for a summer night. And... More

Sandra and Les work extremely hard at making this B&B an excellent place to stay. And it is lovely, clean, animal hair free and the breakfast is award winning. But there is an undeniable tension in that house. There are lists and rules some in capitals, bold and underlined. Do not arrive before check in time. I would not stay... More

We had another wonderful stay at Cambridge House. The welcome is great, the room very comfortable with fantastic views and the breakfast will set you up for the day. Reeth is a lovely village and the surrounding area is beautiful.

I stayed at Cambridge House this weekend whilst attending a mountain bike race in Grinton. The house is situated in a great place just outside the village of Reeth and has fantastic gardens. The B&B has secure storage for bikes and equipement and also has a drying room (although I didnt need the use of it). Our arrival was met... More

Ours was a one night stay only, but we had a friendly reception (with cake) and a very comfortable room. Breakfast, taken around a shared table, was convivial and tasty. Sandra and Les, the proprietors, are genuinely helpful, interesting and interested, and knowledgeable about the area.
