Portsoy is a quiet little coastal town in Scotland. We were made very welcome by the owner of The Boyne. Enjoyed our meals and met some of the locals. Great for aussies who want to soak up Scotland. Rooms a bit dated but had all the modern ammenities. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Boyne.

have to say the Boyne Hotel is definitley the friendliest pub in Portsoy thanks to Liz and Gadget who (unlike many pub/hotel type owners) actually care about the place, on top of which the food is great, the accomodation is clean and comfortable and Portsoy itself is beautiful...we'll be back!
