Another Groupon deal. When we booked all good dates had gone but were offered the 'penthouse' with a corner bath for an extra £60 for two nights. Neither description was accurate, but did enjoy our stay in the' Swan' room with balcony. (Adjoining door allowed annoying noise thru'). Good location to see south Devon and all that glorious countryside. Wonderful... More

Stayed at the hotel as part of a Groupon deal. The deal itself was very good indeed, the equivalent of £30 each per night, including a two course meal one night and breakfasts both days. The room was large and comfortable (bed a little too soft and we had twin that we were told to push together as they were... More

I am really sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us here at the hotel. I will be passing on your comments to all of the teams at the hotel, to ensure that this does not happen again. I believe that you stayed in one of our zip and link beds in the North Lodge, which... More

Poor reception on arrival. Rooms muddled Food mediocre To cap it all off a lot of noise from the bar which no one seemed able to do anything about. The choir were rude and inconsiderate and the hotel totally useless about taking control of the noise. No consideration of other guests whatsoever. More

Stayed with a groupon voucher. The upgrade was not as good as the Tiverton hotel. We thought that Best Western hotels were very alike but this is not the case. So disappointed. The staff could have been more attentive, but were quite friendly. Food was good, rooms were clean, but sadly will not be returning. More

We stayed in the Nrth Lodge which had large rooms, clean and very comfortable beds. We didn't book breakfast as we wanted to get up in our own time. Lovely lounges (but unfortunatley no newspapers for guests to browse). Easy parking. Lovely views. O.K. ish beer in the pub (not brilliantly kept - def. could do better) but a fabulous... More

I have stayed here several times on business, when working in Newton Abbot. I have also stayed at the Queens in the town centre. The Passage House is a bit remote, but everything is here. If I were staying here for more than a week at a time I would look for somewhere else, just for a change, but it's... More

We stayed as part of a special two night promotion in April only. From staying last year immediately noticed rooms had been redecorated. The bed was a queen size (I think) it was huge! New carpets bedding etc and the bathroom looked new also. Found that the hair dryer was not working shortly after, upon ringing reception and telling them... More

The venue of the hotel is tucked away on the other side of a dual carriageway and railway line, on its own overlooking the Teign valley. From one side not too picturesque, but the views down the valley from the other side into the main river basin are pretty good & contrasting with tide in and out. It’s a good... More
