I stayed here for a few nights earlier this week on a bed, breakfast and dinner basis. In contrast to the quite appalling experiences I have had in the recent past (see the reviews for Jurys Inn in Cork and Charleville Park Hotels). This is everything a good hotel should be. Excellent, quiet and comfortable accommodation, superb food with fresh... More

Was looking for a place to stay in West Cork where dogs were accommodated as we have 2 small dogs. The Seaview was one of the few which Was available. It exceeded our expectations. Our room was large and luxurious with antique furniture and was immaculately clean. There was a 6 foot bed and underfloor heating in the bathroom. We... More

I dined at the restaurant the May bank holiday weekend! From the very moment we entered the building we were treated like royalty. The service and food were outstanding. There was an excellent choice on the menu and the food was delicious. If you are ever in the bantry or glengariff area please go to this restaurant. You won't be... More

Just back from 5 wonderful days in Seaview House Hotel. Charming, welcoming and where no request was too much bother. Everyone took the time to chat and made us feel so welcome. A roaring fire in the evening with a little something from the bar made for a welcome retreat each evening. Definitely one to come back to..... More

My dad and I stopped off here on a drive to west Cork when we got tired about 10.30pm and they accommodated us no problem. The house is lovely and the rooms were comfortable and warm. The little bar was unexpected and great for a wind down before a sleep at great prices. My favourite part of my short stay... More

Perhaps it was the time of year because the hotel was completely empty. I had requested a King size bed or large bed because my husband and myself are both over 6 ft. We were given a room with a double bed with a footboard which really didn't work well. I was told by the management when we checked out... More

Delightful location with fantastic proximity to Beara peninsula and Beara walks, Glengarriff and Sheep`s head peninsula. Exceptional restaurant for breakfast and dinner with outstanding hospitality. Very specific individualised attention from Management. Overwhelming relaxing retreat suitable for all seasons. Guaranteed value for money, no gimmicks required in these recessionary times. More

This hotel if simply great. Fantastic food, exceptionally clean and tidy hotel. Is a county house atmosphere and very relaxing place to stay. Had great nights sleep in the very comfortble beds. Staff and owner are very friendly and could not do enough to help and make sure our stay was enjoyable. Breakfast was fantastic. I simply could not recommend... More

Seaview House Hotel is a Victorian relic, with furniture and fittings to match. The bedroom and sitting are as are filed with heavy, dark elaborate furniture and Victorian china figurines abound. The gardens are beautiful and the view of them from all the rooms (the sea is not visible, being shielded by the high trees in the front of the... More
