This place has had mixed reviews, in part because I think Padangbai has been a way station for party animals going to or coming from the Gili Islands. We stayed there in September 2012 for 3 nights before travelling to Lombok Island. The accommodation in interesting huts was amazing and quite romantic, however, the bedroom upstairs, bathroom downstairs (especially at night)… it was not practical at all. We stayed 1 night. The Hotel is nice, well situated in the harbour (500 meters away from the ferry). They provide a good accomodation with a modern and new room, air conditionning for only 200.000 RP wich is a very good price. Unfortunately the owner was not nice, we got fired from the hotel at 10.05 AM in the morning.... More

The rooms are nice and the location next to the beach is great. So the value you get for your money is quite okay. But the place is lacking a bit of hospitality, I didn’t really feel welcome there. Management wasn’t overtly unfriendly, but they just don’t really care about their guests.

We stayed here for one night in a room on the first floor overlooking the harbour. The view was great! The noise that was previously mentioned didn't bother us. We came here by chance just for a night. The rooms were spotlessly clean. On the small side but fine (double and single bed).
