Room adequate but access & stairs scarily ramshackle.Food good & not bad atmosphere. Best was 5 minutes to Business Meeting at Brands Hatch. Overall much better than non descript room in "could be anywhere" branded chain @ half the cost.

I stayed at The Bull Hotel on the 3rd night of a 5 day walk. The Bull is situated right in the middle of Wrotham, which is a very pretty village.
The location is fantastic for both motorists and walkers. If you are a motorist, the hotel is just 200 yards or so from the M20 & M26. If you...

We stayed for one night with a dog at the end of March 2012.
We were advised on booking that rooms had been refurbished so we did not expect to find it still in progress when we arrived. On the different landings, painting and DIY was still going on, with dust, hoovers, debris - but by the time we had...

We stayed as a couple on recommendation from a colleague and took advantage of the "gourmet break". We paid a bit extra for the newly refurbished 4 poster bed room (room 3 - very big, beautiful and worth the bit extra). The food in the evening was superb. We were expecting high end gastropub food, but instead got top end...

I have frequented this hotel on several occassions and it gets better each time. Several of the rooms have been refurbished so as to match the charm and ambience of downstairs. Roaring inglenook fires accompany the excellent cuisine and the staff are always friendly and courteous.
With superb road links to all the all the London Airports, i would have...

The Bull Hotel is near junction 2 of the M20 but far enough away to avoid traffic noise. The rooms are very comfortable and the food is excellent. Good real ales, fine wines, and the cook can rustle up a great fillet steak. Having tried a few places in Kent this is now my favourite.

I asked for a quiet room and was put at the front, by the road. When I asked for the music to be turned down one afternoon at 4.30, I was asked why as it wasn't time to go to bed! The bar music was under our room.
I don't like a cooked breakfast. This meant a packet of serial...

From the outside it looked beautiful. The inside needs up-dating. When we got to our room it was freezing! The heating wasnt on but there was an oil filled small heater with 1 wheel on which fell over when you crossed the room. There was a lamp on the bedside table but the plug was on the other side of...

My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying at the Bull during British Superbike final showdown weekend. Its very easy to access Brands from here, 10 minutes by car, 5 by Ducati:)
From the time we arrived, nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and smart, incredibly cosy and superbly 15th Century quirky.
But the food, well....... Rib...

internet description was misleading. Bed and bedding might have been new but little evidence of anything else in room being refurbished. WIFI ! I was advised to try outside if I wanted to get on line. A bit surprised to find service charge added automatically, when we had to ask twice for a menu, and we spent plenty of money...
