The staff in general were friendly; apart from one person in the reception that was extremely rude.So far in the time of my check-out, the person at the reception was very kind. I had a nice breakfast but the rooms are old (the furniture) and there is only one plug to connect the TV and the kettle, it needs a... More

Room one large and airy but downside is at front of building above front door. Residents are given a fob to use after midnight when door locked.. As far as I was aware never locked AND closed. Lock in locked position but door open so EVERY time someone entered or left the door banged loudly on to frame. Room 10... More

Great hotel in a great town. Great staff and great food. Feel good feeling is really high here. Live music at the weekend also a big plus. I just had 20 Dutch friends with me here and they will never forget it. Echt een aanrader de Brosna Hotel met super eten en heel leuke mensen dat overall klaar staan voor... More

The room has multiple holes in the floor covered by carpet, I nearly twisted my ankle twice. Dead insects on the floor. There is one plug for the television and the kettle? I had to turn off tv to make a cup of tea. Very in-clean.

The Brosna Lodge is a small hotel in a small, Irish, provincial town seemingly run with very few staff, but with some surprises. It is an old building and the decor is fading a little. The rooms are small but everything was clean, comfortable and well attended to. Dinner was in the bar and I thought I spotted the owner... More

Generally poor quality and very overpriced, although if no options I'd stay again. Room small and poky, very dated, with tiles missing off side of bath. Slight smell of tobacco smoke, and ashtray in bathroom. Much too hot overnight meaning a sweaty and uncomfortable night. Noisy enough without opening windows due to AC unit or something close outside, general noise... More
