I stayed recently the evening before my nephew's prize-giving at Welbeck. An extremely well presented hotel/B&B - the rooms were large, characterful and brilliantly prepared. The welcome from Linda and Tim could not have been warmer. We chose to eat there and it was wonderful - just tell Linda beforehand what you would like and she will do it. Terrific... More

Linda and Tim are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. Their b&b is charming, comfortable, a home away from home. We have just stayed there for the 3rd time and look forward to the fourth! Enough said ;-)

We stayed with Linda and Tim for 3 nights with our 2 children. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. The rooms were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfasts were great and very much appreciated by our children! The cottage is set in the most picturesque setting opposite Bradgate park. There are numerous walks you can... More

my wife and I stayed here for 1 saturday night in feb, it was absolutely brilliant, from the minute we arrived we were treated like family, you will not find better hosts than Tim and Linda, we spent some time by the log fire and was served tea and snacks, they recommended local places to eat along with rough prices... Very welcoming. Scones on arrival, comfy room and log burning stone for the evening. Linda booked a table at a nearby pub for us for the evening. Breakfast was excellent - good selection of cereals and cooked options. Just across the road is a beautiful country park full of deer. A really great spot.

Believe it or not, this was the first ever B & B I've stayed at, and what a great surprise. Tucked away in the country, but close enough to Leicester and other towns for a business or leisure visit. There is nothing that I can find to fault this stay. The hosts are friendly and welcoming - but not overpowering.... More

Linda and Tim greeted us with huge welcoming smiles that made us feel so welcome. Loved the rustic and very English stone and granite buildings which typify this beautiful part of England. Our room was very comfortable: great bed, comfy pillows. They were fabulous hosts throughout our stay: so helpful. Breakfast was fresh, delicious and plenty of it. We were... More

I stayed here this week for 4 nights - and as someone used to travelling, I have to say this is the best B&B I have ever stayed in. A warm and friendly welcome, fantastic accommodation and great food. Linda and Tim are your perfect hosts. The evening by the log fire was so relaxing at the end of a... More

We stayed at Horseshoe in December and it was wonderful. Linda and Tim were really helpful and friendly, they picked us up and dropped us off in the village in the car at the beginning and end of our visit. The room was warm and charmingly decorated, really rustic but with all mod-cons. Breakfast was delicious and generous, best eggs... More
