Spent 5 days in england, four at Station House, exploring from there. Not really interested in castles, wanted to see the people. I'm sold on the B&B concept. Spent the final night at Travelodge near Heathrow - oh well. An occasional train came by - which added to the charm in my view.
Delightful B&B with a great historical attachment - Its an old station, with many original features. Stayed with a friend on a trip to visit Lincolnshire Wolds Railway. Probably the best breakfast I have ever devoured whilst staying in a UK B&B! Proprieters very friendly and amicable, rooms comfy and lovely location. Convenient pub opposite too (limited ales though)
My wife and I have just had a wonderful week end as house guests of Ian and Charmagne. The accommodation is very well presented, clean and everything in place. the bedrooms are really good with everything from en suite to cake, biscuits,tea and coffee.Plenty of place to hang or stow your kit and the view from the front window reminded...
