Full of period features yet modernised to a high standard , rooms were immaculate with the bathroom designed to a high specification. Spent a night here for a sunny may bank holiday , great selection of wines and food (which went down even better in the sunshine). Altogether a hidden gem which we will be returning too.

My husband and I have stayed in many hotels and inns and this is honestly one of the best. The rooms are wonderful, finished to a very high standard, the bar is inviting with a fantastic selection of wines. The food in the restaurant is as good as we have tasted anywhere. We will definitely visit again.

I had lunch on Easter Monday and had the unfortunate experience of eating at the same time when the previous reviewers (16Jo_Ann16s) associate was swearing and verbally abusing the staff at the Holcombe Inn.
