Everything a pub should be, with a standard of hotel accommodation that many others could learn from. We felt really comfortable and welcome here. The meals and room were of a high standard and at a very good price. No negative comments.

Even though the pub was very busy when we arrived, we were dealt with pleasantly and efficiently. We were even offered an early breakfast as we had a long walk to our next destination. Despite getting them up half an hour early the breakfast staff were pleasant and efficient. The evening meal was excellent, overall a great stay.

Visited here a couple of times whilst camping in Dent. Best beer for miles around and all supplied by the local Brewery. The five stars is only for the beer as we didn't stay or eat at this establishment. We sat in the smallish bar area which was fine - there is a larger eating and restaurant area as well.

Stayed at the George & Dragon for a night whilst walking and the room was just fine, nice and clean with a nice hot shower. Breakfast was included and had a good choice of food. Our room was clean and tidy and the host very accommodating you can also charge everything to your room in the bar which I find important. It can be a little noisy in the morning from the street as its cobbled so you here cars driving by which means your up for breakfast. The breakfast was very good and plentiful... More
