having previously enjoyed a stay at strathblane country house hotel we decided to return for a second time, sadly this stay was very disappointing, on arrival we were met by the person who was clearly in charge and led by example, she was surly and generally unpleasant. the room was clean enough but quite tired in its décor and missing... Stayed here twice before, but just back for dinner this time. I love this place, the grounds and surrounding area are so peaceful and relaxing. We both had a (huge) lovely Sirloin steak dinner. There was a wedding on the function suite, such a beautiful location for a wedding. Time to come back for an overnight stay I think.

Stayed at the hotel on a 5pm deal which was really good value. The location of the hotel is great as stepping stone to the Campsies and Loch Lomond and beyond as its only 10 miles from Glasgow. The road to the hotel is a b road so not really comfortable for walking to the village which is 2 mins... More

Visited this hotel for the 2nd time. We were given room 6, a lovely big room with king size bed, huge en suite and views over to woods where we saw deer roaming. Staff were friendly and very welcoming. Dinner was excellent and the cosy lounge with fire was so relaxing. I would definitely recommend.

We were here on a 5pm deal for dinner ,bed and breakfast, the hotel was very quiet for a thursday night with just 2 other parties. We were allocated room 6 which was a huge room with a nice wee en-suite and a view of the grounds in front of the hotel. Dinner was excellent and after dinner we sat... More

Myself and my mum went for an overnight at the Strathblane Country House, that my dad had purchased as a little treat. On arrival the hotel is lovely, and nice and quiet. We were checked in by a very friendly young lady, who was great help and changed our rooms around - as I am disabled and have problems walking... More
