We stayed one night last October. It was difficult to find out what the price was for the room when we showed up. The room all fresh renovated but cold and nobody around to ask for getting it warmed up. Then very early in the morning the heating system finally kicked in. But VERY noisy. At first I thought it...

This was a great place to stay in the interesting little village of St Peters. We booked at the last minute, but there was plenty of room at the house. The accomodations are rather Spartan, but super clean and tidy. Joerg and Stephanie were very informative and gave us great advice about visiting nearby Louisbourg which is a fascinating place...

The woman who we had been in conversation with after we landed in Halifax did not show up or call for over and hour and a half after our informed arrival time. When she did eventually call ,to her credit, she apologized and advised her cell phone did not have reception. Unprofessional and unreliable service. We never did step inside...

I really enjoyed my vacation and the week I stayed at Joerg and Stephanies B&B.
The cute and clean room, the handcooked breakfast with a nice talk and all the good informations about what and where to do today - it couldn't be better. After a break in Cheticamp, it was like coming home again - thank you for all...

We stayed two nights in early August. Joerg was an excellent host, meeting us at the door, carrying up the luggage, offering helpful travel advice, and preparing a great breakfast (twice!). St. Peter's is small town, but has its own attractions and restaurants, including Tim Horton's. Heading up island to the Fortress of Louisburg took a day. This B&B has...

I stayed at Canal House on June 11, 2011. It was extremely clean, the owner was welcoming and the breakfast he made me was outstanding (catered to my vegetarian request, easily better than any hotel breakfast). Highly recommended.

What a great find. We arrived without a reservation and Joerg happily showed us the only available room. Normally we would only accept a room with an ensuite but the Nicholas Denys room is bright and clean and the private bathroom is just across the hall. We loved the individual duvets as that is what we use at home after...

Located within walking distance of the marina and St. Peters Canal, this B&B is the best that I have experienced. The recently renovated house is clean, bright, cheery and a home away from home. Jeorg and Stephanie treated me as one of the family rather than a customer during my multiday stay. They are very knowledgeable about the Cape Breton...

This B&B was perfect. A clean room with its own cleaner bathroom. The owners (young German Couple) were very friendly and the house was very clean and neat. I would deffinalty recomend this house to anyone. We were there for one night, the price was good and they own the B&B down the street with a good restaurant on the...
