Steve and Wendy were incredibly welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them! We spent a lovely long weekend with them... enjoyed a delicious meal and (numerous) drinks in the pub :) The room was comfortable, cosy and clean. We can't wait to return for another visit. Thank you Wendy and Steve!

Very friendly welcome by landlord Steve on arrival. Great selection of real ales, excellent food and helpful staff - in fact nothing was too much trouble which made this a very stress free weekend. Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Only downside was, we only stayed two nights.....we'll be back for sure.

5 rooms next to pub all adequate with ensuite and parking, pub is full of character and Steve and Wendy are good hosts! Local and tourist visitors enjoying fabulous home cooked food ( good portion sizes) Value for money definitely !

Stayed for one night at the Talbot Arms, we had a really warm welcome from Steve and Wendy. Breakfast was really good and freshly cooked. Room was very clean and comfortable, We will certainly make a return visit. The web site is a perfect representation of the rooms and pub.

We had a fantastic weekend at the Talbot, a great boozer, food was exceptional and good value, really nice rooms, very clean and well equipped. Steve and Wendy were fabulous hosts and we had a great night with live music and dancing! Can't wait to return in the near future. Looking forward to the summer beer festival!!

Booked for one night after easy and polite telephone conversation with Steve. Good value. Room was nice, a little on the small side but perfectly fine. Very clean, and nice comfy bed. Steve was friendly, with lots of helpful local information. Was tossing up giving it 5 stars but it is really 'very good'.
