We absolutely loved our 5 night stay here. We had type 'B' room; western/japanese combo. It was spacious; bedroom and separate living room with incredible views. These views could also be seen from sitting in the little onsen on the balcony overlooking the skifields and valley. The much bigger indoor onsen immediately inside was decadently relaxing. We spend a couple of days in Hotel Higashidate during winter. The hotel is very well and centrally located in the Shiga Kogen ski area.
