Stayed for 3 night while visit my mum and organizing an event in Manchester, laid back and they cant do enough to help.Just a short walk into the villiage centre. Breakfast was very tasty and plenty of choice. I will be returning again soon.

We stayed here for a couple of nights, whilst visiting freinds and then attending an Antiques fair in Greater Manchester. On arrival the host was somewhat overbearing but we were hardly there so just kept ourselves to ourselves. The decor is tired and dated, a mix of the eighties with a bit of bright floral wallpaper thrown in for good...

I stayed at this lovely, comfortable hotel the night before a new store opening and loved it! Don't know what establishment those who posted negative comments stayed at, but ignore them. Kevin couldn't have been more welcoming - he even drove me to the dentist for an emergency appointment!
The room was clean, warm, cosy and blissfully quiet. I had...

My wife and myself chose the Springfield Hotel, being close to my wifes training course nearby the following day. The hotel was excellent, Kevin the host made us feel most welcome on our late arrival, and after a quick drink in the bar, we retired to our room. We found the room to be very clean and well equipped for...

Very welcoming, the gentleman who greeted us couldnt do enough for us. Very cosy place, genuinely pleasantly suprised at how good it was. Large bedrooms with decent size en suites and a breakfast im still working off. Great start to our 168 mile cycle tour.
My wife and I stayed here for a night in September. There is a car park at the rear with room for 6-7 cars, and then a nice garden area up to the house. The hotel location is nice and quiet. We met both owners who were very friendly and welcoming. The room was a nice size with a decent...

Stayed here for one night in July 2012, and it was truly awful, all down to the horrific host 'Kevin'. He was rude, impolite and seemed annoyed by our stay! The rooms themselves are adequate, no complaints. Would not stay here again, and not recommend.
I stayed at the Springfield Hotel on Sunday 29th and Monday 30th July with my Mum and Dad, as my Dad was working in Marple and has stayed there before. As it is the school holidays I went along with him. Overall, I was impressed about the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable and very well furnished. Kevin was a...

It's a while back now, but arriving from Devon late on a sunday in February the owner had already advised me that they might not be in. But no worries, everything had been set up for my arrival and I was soon in my room unpacking. I was in the area for a family funeral and some local business, A...

The hotel is indeed value for money: clean and has good facilities. Elaine is more than welcoming and a wonderful host. However, her husband Kevin is an overwhelming owner who feels it necessary to interfere with every scrap of conversation- whether it's directed at him or not. We found ourselves whispering in the communal areas to try and avoid him....
