Very comfortable rooms, decent food but the staff were the highlight. Myself and a colleague were working locally and booked in on Friday evening. The Northern is the best hotel in Brechin, which isn't saying much since Brechin only has 2 hotels (the other is the Caledonian, don't stay there unless you're really on a budget).
