Although staff very friendly they failed to turn up on time one morning and not at all on the second . So no breakfast , no one around at the hotel at all, so i don't know what would happen during an emergency ! Would not return , very unorganised and no staff available over night .

We turned up without a booking on a busy Saturday evening. They went out of their way to accommodate us. We chose specials from the Specials Board and were not disappointed. Food and service was very good. Beer good too !!

Stayed here after a late booking, strange location seems to be situated in somebodies yard. Food an beer good - locals friendly, however rooms are a bit 70s and need refurbished, which in the present economic climate might be difficult.

They have excellent food, and they do a loyalty scheme where they stamp a card for everytime you spend I think it's either £10 or £20 and then with however many stamps you get £20 or so off the bill. I am a vegetarian and I feel they have a good selection.
