My partner and I stayed at Highfield Bed and Breakfast a year ago and I've been meaning to review them ever since because we had such a wonderful time. What stood out about all was the welcoming service, going above and way beyond what was expected and making us feel so at home. As well as that, the breakfasts where... More

Stayed at Highfield House for a night in March whilst we went to River Cottage. The house is immaculate, the room was very comfortable. Very Edwardian and full of features. Judy and Hedley are lovely, fun people who make you feel very welcome. The breakfast was first class... Would recommend to everyone. It is such a shame that Axminster is... More

The breakfast was great, bowls of fresh fruit (your 5 a day in one bowl), Ten minute walk to River Cottage Canteen, and easy drive to Lyme... More

An immaculate bed and breakfast, with all you need for a short stay. Delicous breakfast served by friendly hosts and a comfortable warm room. Very convenient for River Cottage Canteen which is just a 10 minute walk away. Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coast are close by.

I stayed at Highfield House between the 19th and 24th of February whilst attending a course at Axminster Tool Centre which was approximately one mile from the B & B. I haven't had huge experience of B&B accommodation and therefore am unable to compare with other similar places in the area. However, it is hard to imagine a more comfortable,... More
