Loved the studio room - clean and with a spa bath. Nice quiet location, yet central to everywhere in Taumarunui

This motel was far better than most you'll encounter in small town NZ. The room we stayed in was new, clean, spacious with a spa bath. Laid back service too... Excellent value for money. Oh - and dead silent so an excellent nights sleep was had.

We expected a much nicer room for the price charged. The room was dingy and the carpet and mattress seemed to be ancient. I worried about bedbugs all night long. Some of the lights didn't work, perhaps on purpose so you can't see the room clearly. The owners were friendly and helpful, but that didn't make it worth staying there.

Was referred to Central Park Motor Inn by a client in Taumaranui. was hesitant after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor.
