My Mum and I stayed with Dianne and Russell for two nights as part of our West Coast adventure. Mum wanted something different from the usual motel/hotel accommodation experience, and staying here did not disappoint! The accommodation was homely and the food wonderful. Dianne's love of cooking showed in her food, and the amazing breakfast set you up for a... More

This was a comfortable stay and a memorable experience. I'm not always up for a B&B stay, just to lend some perspective. But we were so glad we chose this spot to spend a couple of nights while exploring the area's worthwhile sights. Karamea itself, by the way, is a sleepy town, not in a lovely quaint way, but rather,... More

Russell and Dianne don't offer the usual experience. This is a working farm with terrific hosts and food, a wonderful setting and hospitality and a room that is an A. Dianne is a master cook using only local fresh items, many from her garden. How long since you've had ice cream made from cows you are looking at? Russell was... More

We had a wonderful stay with Dianne & Russell - they made all 4 of us most welcome. Beautiful food -we also had dinner the first night but the breakfasts were way beyond any expectations !! Their local knowledge was great & Karamea is a lovely place to visit. We loved the walks & the locals are all so friendly.... More

Located off the beaten track in Karamea, NZ, Russell and Diane Anderson heaped friendly , family hospitality upon us on their 700 cow dairy farm. The well appointed and tastefully furnished room supplied with a King sized bed had the best mattress ever. Our room although attached to the large airy farmhouse, was private, It had its own lovely porch... More

Dianne and Russell are so friendly and go out of their way to welcome you so it's impossible not to wish you had booked for 'one more night' here. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and private and the hospitality is second to none. Dianne's cooking is the best in New Zealand, not good for the diet but great for the... More

Diane and Russel were wonderful hosts. First of all, Diane's baking is amazing. The breakfast big and hearty with touches of homemade goodies too. We also had the dinner and she brought out sparkling wine for a guest's birthday. The room was ample and ours had a big tub and shower + mini fridge. Wonderful New Zealand made toiletries were... Dianne & Russell Anderson made us welcomed into their home from the start. They are friendly and easy to talk to and made our stay much more enjoyable. We are vegetarians but that did not faze Dianne, she made us varied and tasty breakfasts and evening meals. My only complaint about her cooking is it was so good we ate... More
