A typical seaside hotel in the old Mexico tradition. Clean, airy, with an internet link, TV, and AC .... almost modern, but thankfully not quite. We sat on the balcony overlooking the ocean and relaxed as we watched many bird species fly overhead. One never gets tired of watching the spectacle. The rooms were basic but spotlessly clean. Roger was very accommodating and spoke good English. A good base for flamingo and birding tours.

This was my second visit to the Hotel Punta Ponto. What a wonderful hotel. The rooms are large and spotless, with television and air conditioning. This is a beautiful hotel with a view of the ocean... Roger and his fmaily were incredibly welcoming and always available to me with advice or an interesting conversation! The place feels fresh, clean and airy and they have all the amenities you are after with Aircon, wifi, tv etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The owner and his team are very welcoming and friendly. But the place needs a lot of love too.
