I was part of a group, had a log cabin for myself which was very comfortable complete with a flat screen television. The food was delicious with a great variety to chose from. Could have had a 3 course cooked meal 3 times a day had I wanted to. Enjoyed the swimming pool and walk around the property. Free wifi... More

We stayed at Zmar at the end of September (just off season) as we wanted to go somewhere with some indoor potential if it rained. My expectations were pretty low having read some unfavourable reviews, but it ended up being the perfect weekend away with two young children (and we actually managed to sleep on a camping weekend!). The weather... More

We stayed 3 nights with our 2 year old son. There is enough to do for children, 3 pools, big playground, kids club (altough we did not use it) and lots of nature. Food is good. Bed and sofa bed are terrible- I think we would have slept better in a tent. Beware of the ants and mosquitos, but I... More

We had low expectations and overall we enjoyed our 4 nights at Zmar. The pools are very good, although always crowded. We disliked the ants everyday in our Zmóvel. I think we had to pay in advance in order to avoid cancelling during the stay. Good for a few days.

5 star eco-resort camping spa and all the fab prizes shown upon the reception: it reminds of a student with high grades doing this enormous effort in being clever, that can't realize the point of all it. So here it goes. For campers (there are bungalows and caravan parking lots too) there's this authentic orthogonal "avenue" of free spots where... More

We are a couple and spent 3 nights at Zmar at a Zmovel (small wooden house) in June, and it was an overall good experience. Some pros: - food quality - definitely environment friendly - dogs allowed except some races (although we didn't take one) - very family friendly with lots to do for kids and grown ups - very... Great vacations, it was in may, it was not high season, so it wasn't too much crowd neither the whether was too hot. Great environment, nice swimingpool, lot's of activities for the kids, and is located in one of the most beautiful regions of the country. Just avoid peak season, and have a great experience

Basically, we don`t want to talk about it...but here it goes. We could write a book entitled "Things that are wrong with Zmar" however, here is a shortlist of issues!- Advertised as an Eco Resort however, VERY questionable eco-values.- No public transport links to anywhere, means hefty taxi fares and encourages use of cars.- Unnecessary and contradictory motor racing paraphernalia?!-... Dear Sir, Thank you for all your feedback on Trip Advisor and on our Satisfaction Survey. All your observations are very important to us and to continuously improve our services at Zmar. However, I would like to make some observations myself: - 'we don't want to talk about it... but here goes' - there is no shame in admitting you... More

Not the type of person who camps or stays at camping parks every holiday, but this place is seriously an unique experience. You can opt to take your caravan, tent, or stay on their own rooms which was what I did! Family or couple mode, the place is cleaner than my own house. Beds and sheets have an amazing quality,... I truly loved my stay at Zmar and will go back for sure. What stroke me the most was the ecological concern present throughout the resort. Staff was also very nice, respectful and informed. The food was great, specially the pizzas made right in front of you :)! The outdoor activities and the fantastic beaches close by also make it... More
