We spent a week at this hotel in march on an all inclusive holiday very relaxjng but a good few degrees cooler than in Funchal. The room was quite basic but spotlessly clean. We were on the second floor looking out on to the terrace not one of the better views. The meals were buffet style evening & breakfast mediocre but... More

My husband and I spent a week here mid March on an all inclusive basis. We had a very good deal and thought it was great value for money. We paid for an upgrade when booking our holiday and had a bright, spacious, comfortable room with a terrace overlooking the gardens and plenty of storage for our needs. The bathroom... More

Just spent a week here earlier this March 2012. We were promised a free courtesy bus which never happend, talking to other guests they were promised the same. This hotel would only suit walkers, golfers or anyone wanting isolation. Local bus ride to Funchal takes 1 hour and cost approx £10 per couple per day. If all the food is not eaten... More

Just back from a week's all inclusive stay, with mixed feelings. Generally good value for money, with meals from the self service buffet being tasty and generous - nothing to stop you going back for seconds, or even thirds! Food not always as hot as it should be though and the "hot" water (from self service machine) for tea/coffee making... More

I had chosen this hotel because of it's location, allowing me to make long walks. It is not bad but the for me much too hard bed made it a bad experience and they had nothing better. When I complained I was not even taken seriously. Hotels often think there must be something wrong with me if others don't complain... More

Nice location for quiet getaway , Good fresh food local vegetables ,fresh bread etc . Some people complained of cold rooms but ours was as warm as toast . Dark decor didn't help as the weather was overcast most of the time and raining some of the time, as the location was about 800m high . You need to hire... More

We holidayed here just before Christmas, the hotel is lovely though as mentioned elsewhere has got some damp problems. Our room was chilly but this problem was solved in minutes by the provision of an extra heater. The staff are superb, there isn't anything that is too much trouble for them and they are really friendly too. Food, especially lunch... More

We spent wonderful week in Madeira island. Enotel Golf is located in very calm and peaceful village Santo da Serra. You have to rent car to see the island or reach the closest nice beach in Machico 10 kms far away (15 minutes downhill, 20 minutes uphill). You can park just in hotel area. Santo da Serra has some shops,... More

My family and I decided to go back to Madeira this summer and we chose an all inclusive deal to the Do Santo hotel. We were very pleased with our choice as the hotel was in a beautiful location and it was very well kept. The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. We enjoyed the... More
