The suites are an old hotel, newly renamed. The pictures on their website are somewhat deceptive. The pool area is totally unprotected from the wind which can be extreme, so that any use of the area around the pool is quite limited to clear, windless days. We were promised a caldera view room: the only view of the caldera was... More

From the Welcome drink overlooking the Caldera to the figs picked from the hotel tree, served on breakfast... WOW. We booked double room, located on the ground floor, pool level, we were lucky, while staying at the hotel all guests were quite and polite, otherwise, this room could be a bit noisy. Small pink room, tiny bathroom, but it was... More

I travelled to Santorini with 4 middle-aged girlfriends in May 2007. We booked 2 rooms, at the Artemis Studios (considered 3 star in the tour guides) One was a studio appartment on the top (4th floor?) and the other was an effeciency unit on the third level. Both rooms had a great view of the Caldera. Each unit had its... More

Visiting of Santorin was part our wedding trip and after suggestion of our agent we choosed this hotel. This was more than we expected! Rooms are more or less Ok and breakfast is nothing extra ordinary, but the hotel is in a perfect, quiet place. You have your own sunset in relaxing Enigma music from the pool terrace. I would... We choosed this hotel for our stay during wedding trip part on Santorin island. I must say that this is one of the places where we have been. Rooms are small but nice. From the hotel there is a perfect view to vulcano and you can enjoy peaceful sunset from the pool terrace, This is a small hotel, therefore we... More

Overall, It was an outstanding experience. The hotel has a breathtaking view, and you can enjoy it from the swimming pool or when you are having breakfast. The owner is very dedicated to his customers and we really had a god time there. There is no room with a particular view, but it doesn't matter, since you have the bests... More

The only good thing about this hotel is the view. The bedrooms are dark and the bathrooms were very small and inadequate with dirty grouting and chipped tiles the shower was behind a mildewed curtain.Breakfast was very poor e.g. the fruit available was tinned Fruit Cocktail or dried up oranges, they even ran out of corn flakes and eggs. The... More

My husband and I just got back from our two week honeymoon to Greece. We stayed at the Artemis Studio for 3 nights. We highly recommend it for couples...especially those looking for a romantic getaway. The view is amazing, the staff is excellent and the town of Melagori, where the hotel is situated, is quiet and has a few restaurants,... More

Upon arrival they upgraded us to their top suite with private balcony overlooking the caldera because it was easier for them--we didn't complain! Room was clean, mattresses a little worn but fine. Kitchenette & TV included. Washroom was tiny and cramped with a shower thrown in as an afterthought, but typical of most traditional Greek hotels. View is spectacular. Some... More

We stayed at this hotel in August 2005. Pros: - Beautiful view of the caldera - Megalachori has a small town square which is incredibly quaint - The pool was nice. Cons: - From our room, we couldn't actually see the view without opening the door (no window on that side.) Our "balcony" was actually the walkway between the rooms... More
