This was our second trip to Vamos, and this time we stayed in Fillipa's House. Absolutely fantastic - certainly one of the nicest rentals I've had (and I've travelled in Europe quite a bit). Very comfortable, well-equipped. And the service at the tourist office was lovely. This is a very nice area for walking as well as beach and eating... More

One of the joys of a holiday is undoubtedly going out for a lavish dinner each night, though to be honest, at some point, looking at yet another menu can become a little off-putting. However, Vamos traditional village not only boasts wonderful restaurants such as Taverna Marouvas and the Sterna tou Bloumosifi, but if their allure has paled after the... More

We were at Douliana in the Manolis house in octobre 2012. It's such a wonderful place. Everything is perfect there... The region is just great! So green and calm... We loved the sea down at Almyrida. The village Vamos is such a nice place to be and to buy things... in octobre you could believe that you're the only tourist... More

We stayed at Vamos Traditional Village in September of 2012. It was our first time to Greece and our first stop was the beautiful Island of Crete and the beautiful Vamos Village. Our cottage was by far one of the most special places we have ever stayed at. Well appointed, great view, wonderful little private patio, pool just steps away,... More

We stayed in Helianthos 1 in the pretty village of Douliana for 6 nights in September. This is a lovely 2 storey house, tons of room for a couple. The house has been modernised, but not lost its character. It is one of four clustered around a beautiful pool. The pool is shared but mostly we had it to ourselves... More

We stayed for three days in Douliana at the end of September. The village is delightful with a wonderful Taverna open in the evenings. The two storey house was perfect with a sunny and private courtyard and a beautiful pool shared with two other houses. The views were fabulous. The staff at Vamos were extremely helpful and obliging and we... More

For a fortnight in Sept. 2012 my wife and me had a wonderful time in the "Aggélamos 1". OK, the weather was super, but that is not enough to make a perfect holiday: The traditional and modern house was charming, clean and quiet, the breakfast-and-dinner-view from the balcony over Old Vamos simply great, and the every-day-service was excellent. We really... More

We enjoyed a lot our stay (6 days) in Vamos Traditional Village. Our apartment was super, large, clean, quiet, with a nice balcony for the sunset. The offer of activities (walks, visits, gorges, beaches, cooking, etc.) and restaurants is diversified and interesting. The people at the reception are helpful, friendly and they respond very quickly. The Bloumosifis Taverna may not... More
