Having visited Nidd Hall on at least three occasions before, we had no doubts that it was the perfect place to choose .for our special 4-day break. The hall is set in beautifully maintained grounds providing pleasant walks and has an interesting history. Inside is warm and welcoming and the staff are unfailingly attentive and helpful. The signature room was excellent.... More

Take note of trip advisor in relation to age group as if you're under 70 you will feel young! Decor resembles a 4 star nursing home! The staff are mostly young and were friendly in the main especially in the dining room where service was top class. The chef even came out to check to see if our gluten free... More

Beautifully presented, well maintained hotel and grounds. Clean, smart, comfortable, modern bedrooms. Helpful friendly staff. Entertainment good. Pleasant walks, relaxing tables to enjoy the view or bowling, swimming, snooker, ten-pin bowls, archery, dancing for the more energetic. Disadvantage is the adult-only, my fourteen year old would have thoroughly enjoyed it. Warner why not add older children week-end into the calender? More

We chose Nidd Hall for a 4 night break and upgraded to a Historic Room. The hotel was welcoming and warm with lots of thing to do. It also proved to be a good base to explore North Yorkshire. Room was large and comfortable but did not have a view. Lovely gardens to walk round and we had a really... More

We chose Nidd Hall for a 4 night break as we wanted to explore Yorkshire, the hotel looked attractive on the website & the nightly entertainment seemed appealing. We were a little nervous after reading some of the negative reviews but we can say the whole experience was extremely enjoyable. We chose a Signature room which we thought was worth... More

Nidd Hall is beautifuly situated near Ripon in North Yorkshire. You leave the A61 to drive down a long, exquisitely groomed approach road to the former stately home. The latter befits the surroundings-set in acres of wonderful and well maintained gardens. It feels special. inside the old house is impressive with its large rooms and sweeping staircase. We had room... More

Our first visit to a Warner Hotel and it did not disappoint. This historic building stands in spectacular well kept grounds with panoramic views over surrounding countryside.Good leisure facilities, friendly efficient staff and good food complete the package.Stayed 3 nights in a Signature Room with patio which was perfectly adequate[would not bother to upgrade] and would certainly visit again. Ignore your check in time. Get there early, and by this I mean before the check in time for a suite which is the earliest or you will not get a disabled parking space. Once you have arrived, however, if you are round about 90 you will soon have the opportunity to make friends and discuss ailments with people of... More

Nice hotel with lovely grounds. A group of us went aged 25 - 85, to celebrate the 85th birthday. We stayed 2 nights but would have enjoyed staying a bit longer. All but one had Historic rooms which were very nice. The final room booked was a Signature room which was fine but not worth paying extra for. It was... More

This is a lovely hotel with wonderful character public rooms and terrific grounds. I stayed in a historic room which was a bit smaller than anticipated and had no central heating, there was an oil filled radiator which struggled to keep the room warm in cold weather. The hot water tank must have been a long distance away which meant... More
