It's to believe that Calgary International Airport is only 120 kms or a 75-minute drive away when you're sipping a beverage on the sun-drenched deck of Engadine Lodge watching the wildlife activity in the idyllic meadows. great FOOD. great SERVICE. great CLEANLINESS. This place is completely worth it and unforgettable as a stop for an awesome meal (an abundant spread... More

It was soooo quiet! We had a lovely two night stay at the Lodge, enjoying a comfy room, tranquil surroundings, friendly staff and fellow guests, great homecooked meals. Chris and Shari-Lynn have a gift of making everyone feel quite at home. It's a pricey retreat but it is a special spot and worth the splurge if you're able. If overnight... More

The lodge is located in the wilderness, making it a unique position for whoever want to experience true remote getaways like me. The facilities, food as well as service are outstanding: The archetecture is swiss chalet style with two cozy sitting rooms and one big dining room facing mountains. It is good to see animals like moose walking across the... More

In 2005, we chanced upon the location of this lodge while trying to find a day walk between Canmore and Waterton Lakes NP. There was female moose and her youngster on the meadow there and we resolved, if ever we returned to the Canadian Rockies, we would aim to stay at Mount Engadine. We were nearly put off by the... Went hiking for the day, then went to the lodge for some sweets and coffee. The lodge and views are amazing. Its incredible to know that we have such places in our own back yard. The staff are incredible, making sure that they speak to every person that walks thru the door. We will be back several more times this... More

A very cozy lodge in a beautiful location close to Banff and Lake Louise, but far enough from the hoards of tourists that seemed to congregate around every other nice lodge and hotel in the region. We were greeted by name and arrived just in time for the delicious afternoon tea - a large selection of baked good, cheese, fresh... More

A stay at Engadine combines the best of all worlds: breathtaking views, outstanding food, easy access to phenomenal hiking trails, daily visits from curious moose, extremely comfortable accommodations and, most of all, a kind, fun-loving, and impressively knowledgeable welcoming staff. Truly a one-of-a-kind experience not to be missed.

Mt. Engadine Lodge is the best location we have experienced for both a mountain adventure trip (hiking, cross country skiing, mountain biking, climbing, etc.) while providing a luxurious place to stay, eat and relax. The food is wonderful as are our hosts and all those who serve you. Breeann - you are amazing with ;your memory of names, likes and... More

Very well kept. Excellent food and friendly staff who genuinely care about the quality of your stay. We felt totally relaxed and could just sit back and chill or go to any of the many hiking trails nearby to appreciate nature at it's finest. Check out the entertainment schedule for added bonus.

BC and Alberta national parks are cut by an ugly corridor highway corridor where trains, trucks cars and accommodation seem bound to eachother. So difficult to fund a posisibility of isleeping in the nature! Engadine lodge is THE ONE!
