We chose an internal room so it would be quieter, however room 3 is right next to the dumb waiter elevator, which starts going at 6am. So that was a painful awakening every morning. The wifi rarely worked. We had to ask them to reset it everyday. Eventually we just used the connecting Hotel Rodelu in the joining lounge area... More

We were very disappointed about Hotel Rosim. For 28$ a night, we had a little, dark and smelly room with a terrible old and dirty carpet on the floor. The shower did not work and the bed was hard as stone. In the morning after 6.30am it was impossible to sleep. There was some generator above our room makeing a... More

We stayed one night and were glad it was only one night. Whilst the location was good and the reception area was nice, unfortunaltely this didn't extend to the room we stayed in.  We found the room gloomy, smelt really musty, had horrible carpet and was noisy at night. We thought it was poor value for money compared to other... More

Receptionist had no record of booking even when shown confirmation email on my iPod. Room adequate size. Carpet needed vacuum. Toilet needed 3 flushes to work. Loose electrical connection in bedlamp. Emergency exits both deadlocked from inside. Reception bell not answered so had to go looking for someone with key to let us out. Notice to clients incomprehensible in English.... More

Two nights here, very good value with a huge room too myself for $14. Hot water erratic, service mostly good and pretty decent restaurant next door. Very good value for solo or couple not looking to hang with backpackers.

This hostal offers a lot for 11$ a person (private room with private bathroom). They are located in a nice building, have big rooms with nice bathrooms with a very good shower. The beds are very good, it is quiet inside the hostal, the staff is very friendly and they kept our lugage for free for a few days.

Excellent value for what is probably a three star hotel. Rooms clean, beds comfortable, with private bathroom. Friendly helpful staff. Parking available in underground car park next door, included in price. Central to town, short walk from bus depot. Internet connection a bit hit and miss sometimes, but that's more to do with Internet availability in the country rather than... More

For what it is – a cheap hostel – Hotel Rosim is a good value for money. Our room was spacious and clean and had a big window. One big problem– no hot water though it was promised. We managed to get some in the evening after running water for 25minutes but nothing in the morning. On that basis I... More

My son and daughter in law and I suffered losses of around $ 3,000 US in theft of SLR digital camera equipment while out of the hotel for dinner - about an hour and a half. No break-in; thief used key. Owner claimed theft "could not possibly happen. . . . one employee on the job for 20 years and... More
