Strongly recommend you make this wonderful corner of County Down your base for exploring the beauty of South Armagh, the Mournes and then on the other side of Carlingford Lough down to Dundalk and Drogheda. Meadowlea is the perfect resting place after taking in these lovely corners of Ireland - probably the best in the entire island.

Just minutes from Rostrevor and Warrenpoint, "where the Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea," the setting of Meadowlea B and B is lovely. There are only two rooms, each with a double and single bed, and ours had french windows looking out over the fields - complete with bunnies - to Carlingford lough and the mountains beyond.
