I refer to the very poor quality of the foam mattress. It is originally only 10cm thick but once you lay down, the mattress "deflates" to about 1cm and leaves you lying on a hard board. Another guest asked for a second mattress on the second night.

For Vanuatu accommodation, this place is really good value. The rooms are quite bare, but very clean, with a kitchenette that you could do some basic cooking in, a little table and shelves. We have never stayed in a budget accommodation before but we were so glad we did this time around. We arrived as visitors and left Santo feeling like we were leaving family behind. Our hosts were magnificent people - very friendly, helpful, vivacious and wonderful. The motel is humble, clean, quaint and has all the essentials. We loved it.

Absolutely loved staying here.!! Best budget accommodation we've ever stayed in ! Everything was clean and the ppl running the motel were soo nice, made you feel right at home. we had no plans yet for activities and they recommended excellent places which made our stay in espiritu santo unforgettable. For the budget conscious traveler this is the place to stay. close to town centre, plenty of eating places with in a short walk. or cook for yourself in modest but effective self contained units. will stay again when traveling back to vanuatu!

Only positive feedback: ideal location Luganville price vs quality is top, guest are very kind and always available / connected to organize any trip in Santo. Great place to put your bag down and stay a couple of days.
