We enjoyed our stay in Phuket at the Kata Beach area. Ricos is well located. Right next to the pub street. This is a busy street with a dead end. Although lacking Thai charm, these bungalows are clean and well located. The pool is clean and the staff are friendly. Beds are pretty decent too for this price range. They arranged an early morning taxi and nothing was too much trouble. Walk to eat- street. Bit noisy as its very central.

We loved it - as we travel thailand this August this was by far our favourite place. great pool, atmosphere, clean, comfortable, great little surrounding area and so so cheap! Stay here you won't regret it....I'm a travel agent and have stayed in some fab 5 star properties but this was so enjoyable!

Rico's is nothing too special but is a great value with clean rooms. It is not on the beach, but is probably a 5 minute walk from Kata Beach. It is in a quieter part of Phuket but still has plenty of options for restaurants and shopping. I would recommend Rico's!

Ricco's is nothing special. But hey, what do you expect for about 28 euro' s a night. Its clean, it as a pool and a receptionist that never learned to smile to customers.
