Good location which right in the middle of town (near Lahad Datu Centre Point and another shopping mall) and clean room. Easy to grab a bite near by restaurant or cafe. Lahad Datu downtown does get very quiet at night so do not expect much happening. Hotel breakfast is limited choice. Great for short stopover if you wanna rest after... More

We arrived in the small village of Lahad Datu for an overnight stay at Silam Dynasty hotel. We found check in to be quick and efficient, our room spotless and adequate space and amenities. I enjoyed the view across the street where local people go about daily shopping. This is a place where people like us have a stopover on... More

This hotel located in a center of a small town Lahad Datu. Just 6km from Lahad Datu Airport. Towel, toiletries given. Wifi service available and faster. Nothing to do at this town, but if you're brave enough, you should spent your time walking around Pasar Rakyat Lahad Datu and feel like you're at some part of Philippines maybe. Hard to... More

The city of Lahad Datu does not look or smell good. There is nothing to do or see here and basically, you better pass it without stop! If for any reason you need to stay one night, this hotel is fine. Probably the hotel restaurant or the room service is the only safe place to eat in this city. Do... More

Presumably you are going to Lahad Datu to stay befor emoving onto the Danum rainforest or Tabin. We got the flight from KL to Kota Kinabalu and then the internal flight to Lahad. One of our cases unfortunately didnt arrive with us and other people had the same problem. We were escorted off to a little room where we filled... More

To be honest I'm not sure you would find a better hotel in Lahad Datu. With that said this doesn't mean we had a good experience at the hotel. This incredible charmless hotel is situated in the middle of the equally charmless city of Lahad Datu. We stayed a night here before going to the Tabin Wildlife Resort. If you... More

I stayed here twice, both one-night stay, and both on work trips. The price is very good for a clean room with coffee & tea making facility, and ironing facility sent to your room. Nice breakfast, quite delicious. Helpful and friendly counter service. If you get a room at the front facing the main road, the view is ok but... More

Lahad Datu is a very unappealing but you might have to stay here if you want to travel to Danum Valley. I booked Silam Dynasty as it seemed the best of a grim bunch. It was ok, room was fine for one night. I booked with Agoda, which seemed to confuse reception for a while, but it got sorted out... More

If you have to stay in Lahad Datu then this is probably the best of a bad bunch. Clean, safe (relatively) and, if you give the porter cash, they'll get you beer to your room! But I think you should really question why you are spending any longer than necessary in Lahad Datu. Wiki Travel - "things to do in... More
