I met Michael, the owner, by chance on the ferry from Trinidad. I had booked another place, but ended up coming to stay at his hotel.
Michael and his staff are very forthcoming and helpful, bordering on the generous.

Once called "Cocrico Inn" the Inn has been re-named "Changrela Cocrico Inn" by new owners, the Chang family relatives. The Inn is neatly tucked in the quaint historical coastal town of Plymouth, once the playground of the Courlanders from Latvia, the French and the English who fought for supremacy over the indigenous Caribs and over each other. The Inn is located next to the Mystery Tomb, Courlander monument, Fort James, the children's playground, fishing jetty, Turtle beach and the Plymouth football field, which once hosted the famous Plymouth Jazz Festival. The L-shaped Inn contains 17 comfortable and affordable tiled en-suite rooms of various sizes. All with cable TV. All, except two with a/c. Some with kitchenette. Some with small fridge and microwave. Amenities include a 20 ft x 40 ft swimming pool with shallow and deep ends. A dining room for serving breakfast to guests only and a bar are on site. The setting is ideal for group sizes up to fifty. The longer you stay the less you pay. One night is given free for the first one week stay, two nights free for the second, three nights for the third and four nights for the fourth.
