The Maison Warlop is definitely one of the best, friendliest accommodation I have been to. Martine, the owner, is passionatety taking care of her guests and is always cooking fresh local dinner, respectively serving fresh backed bread and Apple tartes from the house garden. Wi-Fi included as well for some who needs to do some urgent social networking :) But... More

We Stay here for one night on our way to the South of France. The location was perfect just an hour and half from Calais. Our room was very comfortable, and large, but the best kept secret is the food. We had an excellent dinner with plenty of wine, and great company. We will be back!

My partner and I stayed with Martine a couple of weeks ago. We had a wonderful time. Martine's cooking is first class. The walnut wine and the sorrel soup were very special. She was affable, friendly and considerate and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was immaculate. Additionally she is a mine of knowledge about the local region. The... More

We found this B&B through Tripadvisor when looking for accommodation near to the TGV Haute Picardie station. It is in a very small village which has no shops or cafes. Our host, Martine, very graciously collected us from the TGV and also prepared very nice dinners for us on the two evenings we stayed there. Given the B&B's location you... More

A continental breakfast I heard that traditionally, for the english visitors a continental breakfast in France means pain de campagne with apricot jam and a bowl of coffee. Local fruit juice, organic breads cooked at the last minute, home-made brioche, home-made jams and marmalade with coffee or tea, it is the continental breakfast you can expect here. After fourteen years... More

We stayed two nights at this wonderful guesthouse while exploring the Somme battlefields. We heartily endorse all the other positive comments on Trip Advisor about this place. It is a fascinating example of modern architecture with a lovely garden. Our ensuite room was enormous, clean and full of personal touches. Parking is right outside and the house and village are... We stayed 3 nights in a very comfortable room with en-suite bathroom. Returning from long days touring on the Somme it was nice to be able to relax and have a nice meal. Whilst there was no choice the food was excellent and the wine vey good. Madame Warlop is an excellent hostess is is happy to converse in English.... More

Our host, Martine, was attentive and accommodating and very polite. We had a lovely large room with an ensuite bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean and private. The room was also very quiet and we could only hear the sounds of birds in the morning. The B&B is located in a small village in the Somme, but with close access to... More

We loved this little guesthouse. I travelled with my husband, mother-in-law and infant daughter. Martine, while perhaps a little shy, was very friendly and really tried to make us feel welcome and comfortable. she showed us her vegie garden and had some very interesting art and history books in her lounge available for us to read. The guesthouse is in... More

Martine provided great simple country dinners and very good company for the two nights we stayed. The accommodation was wonderful in a lovely house. The location is terrific for exploring the battlegrounds of the Somme (Fresnes-Maznacourt was on the front line) and sits in a very peaceful village. Wonderful B&B.
