We stayed at Carbery Cottage Guest Lodge for one night. It is in a lovely situation very close to Durrus with wonderful views overlooking Dunmanus Bay. As we arrived we were actually met at our car by the owners, Julia and Mike, who were very welcoming. The room was very good and the breakfast was superb. Everything home made. More

Just back from a five day viisit to West Cork staying in Carbery Cottage Guest lodge. A fantastic part of the world ! scenery spectacular. Only drawback was West Cork is not a dog friendly area, everywhere we went were signposts saying "no dogs allowed", mountains/pubs etc. but other than that a great relaxing stay. More

We chose this B&B as our dog was welcome too. Julia could not have done more for us, local information, restaurant bookings etc. Mike, in addition to cooking us beautiful food, helped us greatly with some tips to train out dog. Will be back. More

when is the last time you were met at your car on arrival at any accomodation.....this was only one of the little things that made our stay so good. I advise you to try it for yourself and see wjhat I mean. A beautiful haven in a beautiful part of the world. What more can you ask for? More

The owners are great hosts with an in depth knowledge of Sheepshead. Great views from the property which you can wakeup to in the morning from your bedroom window. Beautiful position on the Sheepshead in West Cork, Very Dog friendly, Owners have 4 of their own which are kept separate apart for occasional gust appearances! Rooms spacious & clean with great views. Excellent breakfasts. More
