We planned to arrive at Grand Canyon West in the late afternoon and did not want to drive the desert roads (and dirt road) after dark so we bought the tranquility package to stay at the Hualapai Ranch. It was definitely worth it for the following reasons - we were some of the few people still at Grand Canyon West... More

It’s impossible to review this place without reviewing the Skywalk at Grand Canyon West Rim, because that’s probably the only reason you’ll ever make it to Hualapai Ranch. Sooo…. Don’t go to Skywalk. Just don’t. I read similar reviews on TripAdvisor but decided to go to Skywalk anyway because it just sounded so cool. It’s really not particularly thrilling and... More

Are you up for a cowboy adventure? Then this is the place for you. If you go in, expecting what it is you are getting, you will have a great time. The people are fantastic and go above and beyond to ensure that you are enjoying yourself. The Ranch itself consists of cabins that have nice little front porches. Inside,... More

Thought this would be a wonderful experience and fun for the kids. However, I did feel quite disappointed by our stay. We arrived too late (about 6pm) for the free wagon ride, horseshoe throwing & quick draw activities that were on offer. And sadly left too early (about 10am) before there was anyone available to oversee these activities the next... More

This place is a country within USA. It was a new knowledge to me that there are independent places controlled by (red) Indians within USA where taxes, ownership etc is with the Indians. This ranch is just at the edge of the Grand Canyon West. Although we were told that we will find lots of (red) Indians but we could... More

Don't visit the Hualapai Ranch expecting any airs or graces, any bell desk or concierge, room service or valet... Go there to enjoy some good old hospitality, hearty meals, a taste of the old west and experience the native Americans who are only too willing to share their culture and traditions. My 6 year old son had just visited Disneyland... More

We spent one night at the ranch as it is the only overnight accomidations within 2 hours of the west rim. We arrived mid afternoon at the visitor center. Tickets ate confusing so I recommend researching and understanding all the fees. When I called to book the ranch, they were very good at explaining the legacy fee and what was... More

My husband and I and four boys had no idea what we were in for when Russ from the Last Stop Diner organised our stay at Hualapai Ranch. Well, we had the best time ever!! The boys had such a great time that they did not want to leave...Being able to stay right there at the West Rim was amazing.....the... More

We stayed here as part of our 6-day Super Vacation Tour of LA. We were informed by the tour operator of this "6-star accommodation facility" & were so disappointed by the facade of the cowboy town. The cowboy evening meal needs more improvement, particularly in presentation. Serving sizes could be increased. The beds in the rooms were horribly uncomfortable -... More

Our night at the ranch was great, Swiss-Italians loved it! Personnel and facilities at the Ranch were exceptional. However, as the American family member who organized our adventure it was equally frustrating. i sent a lengthy email to both the Operations and Marketing Mangers detailing all the issues i faced, including double billing on the credit card that took 3...
