Was not sure what to expect as everyone had told us to stay at the bright angel. We were pleasantely surprised. They room was clean, updated and had a lovely forest view. Very quiet. They rim is a short drive away but tge rooms have alot less people walking around them as compared to the bright angel. We were able... More

Room was better than I thought it would be from the reviews I had read. Room was a bit small but ok. Bed was comfortable. Walls are thin though. You can here next room talking. Luckily we were tied and went to sleep quickly. Good location

Great lodge in the heart of Grand Canyon National Park. Short drive away from the rim trails. Shop, restaurant etc close by. We really loved the feel of this place. Rooms were spacious and clean. Would definitely return if we come back to the Grand Canyon.

What a surprise! I was expecting a basic national park room, but this was far above expectations. The building may be older and basic, but the room was excellent—spacious, well maintained, and most importantly clean. You can park your car and take the efficient bus system while in the park. The only thing missing is an internet connection. Doesn't have... More

We stayed here on 7th May following a very long, cold, rainy, snowy day followed by huge hail stones. After an average dinner in the very busy cafe, we were allotted our rooms by our tour guide and given block 4, room 7064. The room was very cold and felt like a concrete prison cell when we arrived at 9pm,... More

At the end of April my husband and I stayed 2 nights at Yavapai West. Two queen beds, small but adequate bathroom, wonderful toiletries, an unexpected flat screen TV of decent size, very clean. No A/C at Yavapai West, but certainly not needed in April (we used the heater!). The staff was friendly and effecient. I wouldn't recommend the cafeteria... More

Stayed in the East buildings based on previous reviews stating that they were recently remodeled. As commented on, they are nicely appointed, the beds comfortable and the promixity to the bus stop is good too. We opted to drive to the various points we went to as it was a bit chilly during our stay but many points are well... More

We stayed at the part of the hotel that has access to the rooms from a corridor. I would recommend this since the location is better. It's nearer to the rim and the centre. The room was ok, nothing fancy but ok. The pricing on both the hotels and the restaurants are the same on all three hotels in the... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights during the beginning of May. We stayed in Yavapai East with a king bed. The check-in process was easy and the staff extremely friendly. The area has great amenities within easy walking distance. Though it doesn't look like much from the outside, the room was beautiful. Recently updated and modern, it had... More

We stayed here the first week of May. I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely decorated the rooms were (We stayed in Yavapai East). They include a coffee pot and fridge. This is helpful since there is a huge grocery store nearby within walking distance. Just as everyone mentioned, there are many parking spots out front. Initially, I had wanted... More
