After visiting Mammoth Cave for 2 days we needed a place to relax, cookout and do laundry. A small cabin at this KOA gave us what we needed. As we were in back of the office toward the meadow so the highway noise did not bother us. The facilities were neat and clean, laundry from 2 weeks on the road... More

We stayed here in late July and early August for 5 nights. Our site was nice, close to neighbors but no big deal. The only problem for us was that it was so loud given that the interstate was close by. It was hard to sit by a campfire and enjoy the outdoors when you could hear semi's rolling by... More

We pulled our 31 ft Airstream from Denver, Colorado to Kentucky to spend time with our grandchildren who live near Horse Cave. I drove through this campground on an earlier visit and picked out a spot where we could comfortably park the trailer and get tent sites for the kids in case they wanted to stay a few nights. It... We stayed there with a Class A motorhome. Most of the 30 amp campsites are not level. The 50 amp full hook up sites that are level are in the full sun. There is very little grass and some sites are nothing more than a wide place in the interior gravel road. There is lots of poison ivy. The campground... More

we rented a cabin with ac. the ac was the best feature. :-) there is a fridge and a microwave, one roll of toile paper, and some thin linens for one bed that come with the cabin. be prepared to bring EVERYTHING else you need. (coffee maker, soap, utensils, plates, etc) the place was very dusty. there are farm animals... More

We stayed 5 nights in cabin 2 in June 2012. The cabin was cute with an adequate shower and bathroom (linens included). A small coffee maker and a fridge and microwave were included and there is a place to have a fire to cook things in front of the cabin. We had no bedbugs or mice, but there was evidence... More

We reserved a Kamping Lodge for a two day getaway prior to our daughter's heart procedure. The campground is very nice. There is a miniature golf course, pool, playground, fishing lake, tent camping, rv camping, Kamping Kabins, and Kamping Lodges. We arrived at dusk and noticed dark spots on the bottom of the box springs and mattress. The next morning,... More

We stayed in one of their Cabins during our four day trip to Kentucky and Tennessee. The cabin was not immaculately clean but passable. There was a coffee maker, sink, full size refrigerator and microwave. The Cabin came furnished with linens and towels. The blankets and towels were well worn but the queen bed was very comfortable. It was cold... More

This was out first experience with KOA Horse Cave, we have stayed at the KOA in Bowling Green and had a great time. When we got into the Cabin, everything looked to be OK. However, we always do a a bedbug check anywhere we stay, be it the Hyatt, Holiday Inn, etc. You never know, so we always check. After... More
