We have been vacationing at Ross Lake Resort for over 25 years. Yes, we are mature adults. The resort is run and maintained by a great, efficient and super staff. The setting is pristine in this day of hurry and race. The scenery is awesome and undescribable. Catching fish is an extra. Just the serenity of the mountains and water... More

Requires some effort and planning to get there, but worth it for sure. Not accessible via public road, so you'll either need to hike in, or take a boat-truck-boat shuttle to arrive at the resort. Staff was great, and although the cabins are rustic, they are quite comfortable. Exploring the beauty of Ross Lake is made easy with available kayak... More

Staying at Ross Lake Resort was the most amazing part of our 10 day trip across the PNW. We did the 1 mile hike down to the dock and called the resort for the water taxi. For $2/person we were picked up by a catamaran and taken to the resort. It was early in the morning so we rented a... More

We missed the boat to the resort but the friendly staff picked us up from the dock. The cabin is rustic and awesome and you have to bring your own food. Each cabin is floating on the lake and has a complete kitchen with modern appliances. The bathroom is convenient, the beds are rustic, and the stove is old-fashioned! it... More

I have been going to Ross Lake Resort since about 2000 or 2001. I am in my early teenage years, so I make a lot of new friends there, and never tire for adventures. Ross Lake is the one thing that makes me look forward to summer vacation hurrying, since I go in mid-July, and that is VERY far away... More

Was supposed to meet the boat to Ross Lake Resort at 3pm. Got to the access road in plenty of time only to find it closed! Crane on the Diablo Dam doing work blocked the road longer than expected. Missed the Boat.....LITERALLY! But, thanks to the super employees of Ross Lake Resort (and Seattle City Light) we not only got... More

Our trip to Ross Lake was breathtaking. This was our first visit and we are all ready excited to return next year. The surroundings are majestic and the resort is the perfect place to get away from the all of your troubles and just relax. We had many adventures and truely enjoyed our stay. Fantastic secluded lake with crystal clear water. Unfortunately we were not able to stay the night because we happened upon the entrance to the hiking trail down to the boat pickup. We were totally unaware that there was a floating resort on the other side of the lake. The boat picked us up and brought us to the resort. From... More

Ross Lake is perfect for those of us who aren't equipped(or willing) to backpack and/or camp. It still gives us the opportunity to experience true wilderness. It is the only place I have been where you can count the number of boats within your range of site on one hand. Truely spectacular - wonderful!!! More
