We only stayed for one night before heading out to the Rockies. We did enjoy our stay though. The office staff was friendly and the showers/restrooms were clean. the shuttle bus runs by, but you can also easily walk to town.

We arrived at the RV Resort on Thurs., Oct. 4, 2012. This was to be a great birthday weekend, to be shared with other camping friends and family in our favorite place - Estes Park. The office was closed for the day, but no problem. A nicely marked map of the park was left in the Nightbox for us. However,... More

I don't have an RV, but my sister and brother in law had one, so we stayed at this site. I rented a cabin, and it was great. Sure it's small, but it's not like we were sitting around the cabin anyway. The grand kids loved it, tee pees, swimming pool, play ground, and bunk beds in the cabin. We... More

we drove into our site and did not know that our power switch was on the next site.......... no one told us! other than that we do like the place, close to town, great view of the mountians. It would be nice for them to invest some of their cash into more trees and better roads.....

The previous reviews stating there aren't trees are correct. This isn't your typical camping. It's more of an alternative to an expensive hotel in Estes. There are lots of amenities like a pool, dance hall, and putt putt golf. This would be perfect for folks who like it less rugged and more glamping. Tent sites have no privacy and the... More

We've stayed at the Elk Meadow Lodge 3 times in our RV, and we've been very happy each time. We enjoy breathtaking views of Longs Peak -- sunset is incredible! It is extremely close to RMNP entrance, so arriving early in the park for hiking or climbing is quite easy. It is close to town -- a 5 minute drive... More

Positives: Beautiful views. Close proximity to shopping and they offer shuttle service which would be nice, had we needed it. Pool was clean, as was the hot tub. The campground and vicinity was clean. The laundry room was clean and the dryers actually dried our clothing. Negatives: Some of the spots are a bit close to the road, people park... More

We had a family reunion over the Fourth of July and arrived to find less than desirable accommodations and that is putting it mildly. We had rented the three RVs, that they claimed were new. Well, new to them and really used. Two had no air, plumbing problems - some lines had not been drained in weeks which lead to... More

Wife and I tent camped here this week, and was a great experience. If one is looking for a fancy get away, he or she should consider what is camping. It was our 7thpersonal anniversary trip and couldn't have gone better. Staff was very nice and accomidating. Restrooms/showers were clean and spacious. As for seeing wildlife, it was plentiful and... We occassionally tent camp during vacations when we can't find other lodging at a reasonable price. Estes Park in July presents a choice between a lousy hotel room for $120 and up or a campsite for about $30. We spent four nights in this campground and it adequately provided a quiet place to sleep while we spent our days in... More
