I spent a little time before writing this review, making sure my opinions aren't exaggerated. I had high expectations since I was celebrating a significant event and I was let down pretty hard. First, the highs: The location. The kind staff. The restaurant (although I'd recommend against the meatloaf...BBQ sauce does not make for a gourmet alternative). The things I'll... More

Another stop on the road trip , we came here from 2 nights in Yosemite heated tented cabins. Early April , had a 4 wheel drive and chains ready for the snow , which we missed. There are 5 of us we had a 1 bedroom suite , with a sofa bed and a roll away bed. Room was warm... More

We recently stayed for two nights at the Wuksachi Lodge. The location of the place in the middle of the park, surrounded by nature, is its greatest plus of course. The hotel itself is average. Our room was comfortable, clean and warm, but noise was an issue. On our first night, we were 'entertained' by constant boisterous laughter and conversation... More

Great location, but that makes them arrogant. We stayed in the Stewart building, room 120. After dinner we ended up in the bar and went to sleep around 11pm. On arrival in the room a terrible (impossible to fall asleep) started next door which turned out to be the vending room. The friendly guy at tbe frontdesk explained that they... More

Well, the location in Sequoia Park is fantastic! But the rooms & dining were average, at best. Bed was lumpy & firm, rooms are somewhat dark. We stayed in the Sequoia Bldg. Rm. 307 which had a very nice view of the high granite peaks & the forest(not the parking lot). It is a trek up stairs or a ramp... More

Wuksachi lodge is located in the giant forest in Sequoia national park, and is near (in driving terms) most of the Sequoia big attractions. It's an expensive place to stay, but the accommodation was excellent, the location is the best that is available, the food in the restaurant is also very good and you are going to save yourself several... We stayed here in mid May 2012. The room is sparse, but clean. The beds however were extremely hard - think floor - and did not offer a good nights sleep for us. As one would expect, the dining facility wasw overpriced and the food was OK, but not up to the cost. A small glass of house wine was... More

Stayed overnight for a Birthday Bash. Great clean room, quiet area. These units are semi-new and should have been built with elevators. 7000 foot elevation-- need more ways to help guests get between rooms and dining room. Excellent meals, great waiter staff--front desk staff outstanding over all a pleasent stay. More

Compared to Bryce, Grand Canyon, Yosemite Park lodges, this was the best value for the price. We paid $113 per night which was less than any other lodge. This was a new facility with everything from refrigerator to hair dryer. Even in this remote location, TV and Wi Fi was provided. The room itself was upscale, but the view from... More

We stayed overnight whilst traveling through the park. It was cold and rainy when we arrived. The room was large with a sitting room. Everything worked and it was warm and cosy. Definitely a place to come back to. It is very peaceful and quiet. More
