Overall, the lodge is in a wonderful location and is the only hotel in the national park. However Springdale hotels are VERY nearby. You could stay in either place and be happy,we reckon. Our stay was a tale of 2 rooms which gave us a very mixed experience. We were put in room 140 first of all and were woken... More

We wanted to stay in Springdale, but the town was sold out over Mother's Day weekend. We thought Zion Lodge was a little pricey, but it was well worth the cost. If you are a hiker, you can be on the trails before anyone else - especially good for the very popular "Angel's Landing" hike. We chose the "motel option"... More

This is one national park where you want to stay within the park confines, especially if you are visiting April to October. Loose the car and adapt to the environment. The walks are beautiful, and the surroundings so peaceful especially after all the tour buses have left. Beds are great, baths are average but functional. More

Must make reservations early as the rooms fill up inside the Park. But the Park is where you want to stay, not outside. You can sit on your balcony, watching the sunset on the rocks in complete quietness. Lodge with dinning facilities nearby--a short walk across the grounds. Also Springdale, where there are restaurants is a short drive of 5... More

We were there May 6 and 7. Two couples and we shared a cabin. Great place to stay!!! We loved Zion! The cabins are plenty for people who are there to enjoy the park. They are clean and comfortable. I liked the fireplace and the small porch. The setting is amazing! It was great to get up grab breakfast at... More

Recently spent two nights in a cabin at Zion Lodge. Wasn't quite sure which type of accommodations to choose from. Decided the cabin with gas fireplace sounded good. You cannot beat the location. I love to wake up early and stroll around and snap photos at sunrise. Staying at the lodge is great because as soon as you open your... More

Zion Lodge was the first stop on our National Parks trip. We felt like we were in the center of an unbelievable dreamland! Zion is magnificent and staying at the Lodge enhanced the feel of being immersed in nature! The staff were so helpful and friendly, the rooms cozy and rustic, yet comfy, and the restaurant convenient. We would definitely... More

Our first stay in a national park lodge was not a disappointment. Accessibility was a slight problem: physically challenged beware (which is me). We had a ground floor room but had to climb(with our luggage) up several stairs to get in. A long walk between room, parking lot, and main lodge. Our room was lovely and seemed very recently redecorated;... More

If you are planning to explore Zion National Park and staying overnight, I highly recommend staying here! Why? 1. Location, location, location. It is centrally located in the park, convenient for shuttle service, & close to several hiking trails. 2. Staff is very friendly and helpful. 3. The restaurant is excellent. Service is quick and food is generally very fresh.... More

We stayed in a 2-Queen cabin that has been tastefully updated and very pleasant. The fireplace provided a roaring fire, which is unusual for a propane appliance. Staying inside the park allows one to drive to and from the Lodge which affords some great viewing along the drive, particularly form a convertible. Good choice! More
